How much is the monthly membership payment and when will this get taken out?

Silk Exclusive Membership: The monthly payments are $69.95 plus a 1.97% bank/mastercard/visa transaction fee. This is direct debited on the first of each month. There is a once off load fee of $2.20 & once off joining fee of $99.00 taken with your first payment. There is no lock in period.

Silk Medik8 Membership: The monthly payments are $99.00 plus a 1.97% bank/mastercard/visa transaction fee. This is direct debited on the first of each month. There is also a once off load fee of $2.20 & once off joining fee of $99.00

NOTE: There is a $16.39 failed payment fee charged by our provider ezypay if payments bounce.

Is it true that my friends and family can redeem my monthly free Membership Services if I am away?

Yes. The person just needs to bring in your card and let us know that they will be redeeming your treatments. This will only cost them $20 on the day.

Can I sign up online?

Yes. Simply visit the Membership section on the website and follow the prompts. You will be able to securely & easily sign up for our Memberships & set up your direct debit, however you will need to collect your Membership Card in store.

How do I cancel my Membership?

There are no lock in periods. To cancel your Membership, simply request a cancellation with us via email at kjc@silkstudio.com.au Please note that we require 7 days notice prior to the 1st of the month to action the cancellation of your direct debit for that month otherwise your payment could still be drawn.

When & how can I receive my first treatment?

Your first free monthly treatments & Member benefits will be available once your first Membership payment is made. This is direct debited on the first of each month, however a manual payment can be made in salon before this date if you wish to receive benefits sooner. How long is my Membership for?

All memberships are ongoing unless cancelled via email. There are no lock in contracts you are in full control of how long you remain a Member at Silk.

What if I lose my card?

If you lose your Membership card, simply contact Silk and they will provide you a new one for $15.

What happens if my payment bounces?

We understand life gets busy & sometimes things get missed. If for any reason a payment is missed, there is a failed payment fee of $16.39 charged from ezypay. From the moment of a failed payment your membership is put on hold.

If the Member is non-contactable we will re attempt to direct debit the amount after 7 days. If no payment is taken a second $16.39 missed payment fee will be applied to the account from ezypay.

One of our friendly team will then be in contact with the client to make a Membership payment over the phone plus any failed payment fees. Once the payment has been made, members are free to enjoy the benefits of their Silk Membership once more.

If the membership holder remains non-contactable then after 14 days from the first missed payment the membership will go into cancellation phase. And the $99 joining fee plus the failed payment fee becomes applicable to re-join. And to return to Silk in any instance would require finalisation of any failed payment fees first.

When can I receive my discounted services and products?

As soon as you make your first monthly payment.

Do I receive a further discount off your promotions and packages?

Your discount applies to full priced service and products. No further discount on packages, promotions, add-on’s.

What happens if I need to reschedule or don't show for my monthly Membership appointment?

To reschedule we simply ask for a minimum of 24hrs notice.

If you book your free Member treatments in & you do not give us a minimum 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule, your booking or you do not arrive at all, then your Membership treatments for that month become void.

If I miss a month with my free treatments do they roll over to the next month?

No, they do not roll over. Your free monthly treatments must be utilised monthly & it is recommended that you stay ahead with your bookings to avoid forgetting to book or missing out on a time you prefer.

Applicable to our Exclusive Silk Membership only - Do my two free monthly treatments have to be booked at the same time?

Yes they do need to be booked together at the one appointment time.
